Janice Gorman serves as Vice President of Asset Management. With 25 years managing
commercial real estate in the Houston area, Janice joined Lovett to head the management
of the commercial portfolio consisting of new and developed retail centers, industrial
projects held for future retail or residential developments as well as land assets
held for future projects.
In this role, Janice is responsible for property and tenant construction management,
lease administration, environmental surveys, insurance policy analysis and procurement,
industrial lease renewals, industrial lease negotiations. Janice also advises the
development team on management concerns of new developments.
Janice began her career in 1989 with Gross Lancton & Co. as a project accountant
quickly moving into property management for a portfolio of office, retail and industrial
projects. From there, Janice joined Trammell Crow Company as a property manager
for institutionally owned investments of community and neighborhood shopping centers.
In 1999, Janice joined the grand opening team for Katy Mills as the Assistant General
Manager. In this position, she supervised the facilities, security and accounting
directors as well as the temporary tenant leasing program.
She is an active member of her community and has served on the Nottingham Forest
Civic Association’s Board of Directors and held several positions in the PTA’s of
her two daughters’ schools. Janice is a member of Memorial Drive United Methodist
Church and the West Houston Chapter of the National Charity League.
